My name is Captain Elijah Denali Troutman. I am 30 years old. I moved to the Coast of Mississippi to a small town called Ocean Springs, when I was two years old. I didn’t start becoming a fishing addict till about 8 years old. Believe it or not, I was actually scared of the waves. I was fortunate enough to grow up on one of the best bayous along the Gulf Coast, Gravaline Bayou. I worked for the Gulf Coast Research Lab for 3 years working on two different research vessels. I studied Marine Science at The University of Southern Mississippi. I'm a Licensed OUPV and Masters 100ton Captain. For the past 7 years, I have been working at the Chandeleur Islands with Southern Sports Fishing, Sunrise Sportfishing, and The Pelican at The Chandeleur Islands. I have a vast knowledge in our local fishing industry and am ready to pass it along.
